Woodford & Co is a label created by designer Sheree Commerford. It is inspired by her rural upbringing in a country town. The heritage of Woodford & Co is named after Woodford Island, cane and cattle country in far north NSW and the stage for Sheree’s childhood.
Sheree’s role in the fashion industry has evolved over the past 14 years, from Stylist to a Creative Director. She has been able to draw on this extensive experience and with her formal training it has led her back to the core beginnings as a designer, also encompassing the role of creative director to build the entire life of a brand.
A modern take on an old classic that’s romantic but informal and completely individual. Whether it’s an English Estate, a Colorado Ranch or the Australian Outback, country living breathes honesty and simplicity into the brand by offering clean lines, masculine shapes and tailoring, mixed with a rugged appeal.
Key elements of design that will always be a part of the label’s growing collections are: classic stripes, navy and white, vintage denim, oversized knits, traditional binding, college emblems and a preppy attitude.
